Chelsea Appiah is a second-year Master's student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program at The Ohio State University. She is Columbus, OH native by way of Ghana, Africa. She is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH where she received her B.A. in English Writing and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality studies. On campus, Chelsea currently serves as the Graduate Administrative Associate and Overall Advisor for the 41st African-American Heritage Festival. She also works as an Assistant Hall Director in Smith-Steeb Hall. Chelsea serves as the President of the Higher Education and Student Personnel Association, a graduate student group within her graduate program. As you can tell, Chelsea stays busy on campus with through these various involvements.

In her limited free time, Chelsea stays involved with a local chapter of her sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She also enjoys cooking and nutrition, travel, and staying fit. Upon graduation, Chelsea intends to travel abroad and continue to serve college students. Chelsea anticipates obtaining her Ph.D. in the near future and serving as a college administrator and faculty member.
