Jocelyn May

Jocelyn May is a junior majoring in Operations Management with a minor in Leadership Studies from Prince George’s County, Maryland.  This is her second year being involved in African American Heritage Festival, last year serving as a volunteer and this year as the Chair of Themed Thursday. Jocelyn urges diversity of thought and culture and she aims to ensure purposeful relationships with everyone she comes in contact with. Jocelyn is an employee of the Department of Recreational Sports working in Member Services at the RPAC. Also, she serves as a mentor for TED-Ed fostering TEDx Talks for students at East High School in Columbus, Ohio.  Jocelyn is mostly looking forward to creating an experience within African American Heritage Festival that celebrates the resilience of the Black community on campus, nationally and abroad.
