Mana Kassa

Mana Kassa is the 40th African American Heritage Festival Theme Tuesday Co-Chair. She is a Graduating Senior at The Ohio State University majoring in Neuroscience with a double minor in Biology and Communications. Mana is an Account Executive and Corporate Trainer at The EvoGroup. She hopes to further her career with the company in hopes of becoming a manager of her own office. Mana volunteers as an STI/HIV Test Counselor. She is also a research assistant at The Ohio State University’s College of Public Health, Epidemiology department. Mana is also vice president and co-founder of Africana Youth Representatives, a non-for-profit organization located in Central Ohio. Mana enjoys playing her piano, creating and mixing beats, and socializing with her friends and family. Mana has been accepted into Oregon State University’s Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and Engineering program. In Mana’s third year of involvement with the African American Heritage Festival, she hopes to leave a legacy in which black students on The Ohio State University’s campus can feel a part of a community engulfed with black excellence.
