Tobin Kassa

Tobin Kassa is a fourth year Pre-Law student double majoring in Political Science and Strategic Communication from Ethiopia. This is her third year serving as a member of the African American Heritage Festival. Prior to her current position, she served on the 39th Mahogany Moments subcommittee and was the 40th Mahogany Moments Chair. On campus, Tobin is a student leader with the Morrill Scholars Program and has previously worked with the Undergraduate Student Government as well as the I Am My Brother’s Keeper Program.

A lover of travel and advocate for social justice, Tobin wants to explore overseas upon graduation and continue her studies in the legal field. She’s very excited to be serving as the overall chair for the 41st Festival and anticipates to make this year an especially memorable one!
