Barry Nickell (He/Him/His) is a junior Dance Major and Video arts Minor from Columbus Ohio. He serves as the co-chair on the special initiatives committee for the 46th African American Heritage Festival. In addition to Fest he serves in executive roles for NPHC, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc, BDA and serves as a social change ambassador. Through Barry’s involvement he works to uplift and join the black community both on and off campus. Barry decided to join the committee after all the peole and experiences he had from fest his first two years and wanted to provide those experiences to the rest of the black students on campus.
