Amaree Middleton

Amaree Middleton is a Psychology major pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a certification in Diversity & Equity Inclusion. Originally from Middletown, Ohio, she is deeply involved in fostering inclusive communities on campus. Amaree served as the President and Director of Marketing for the Black Student Association, where she led initiatives to promote community engagement and create safe spaces for students. She is also a member of the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Tri-Alpha, the Minority Collegiate Outreach and Support Team, the Natural and Prosperous Society (N.A.P.S.), and the Caribbean Student Association (CSA). Additionally, she serves as a mentor in the Kessler Scholars Program, a mentee in the Buckeyes First Scholars Program, a member of Black Students in Neuroscience and Psychology, and a Residential Advisor, building supportive spaces for students.
Amaree joined the African American Heritage Fest not only to celebrate and uplift Black culture and promote collaboration among diverse communities, but also because of her long-standing involvement as a volunteer and attendee of Fest events in previous years. She is passionate about contributing to the event’s enduring legacy of creativity and empowerment.
