Anahje Blakney

Anahjé Blakney uses she/her/hers pronouns. She was born in Camden, NJ and spent most of her school years in Springfield, OH. She’s currently majoring in Health Science and minoring in Developmental Psychology. On top of being a co-chair for AAHF OSU reads, she is also the membership chair for Minority Collegiate Outreach and Support Team (M.C.O.S.T.). She is also a part of First Gen-Pre-PA club, and currently work at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She joined African American Heritage Fest because, she wants to provide the sense of belonging she experienced here at OSU. She also enjoys planning and hosting events that her community can enjoy—highlighting black experiences and achievements with others who share the same values as her.
