Jamiona Ross

Jamiona Ross is a third-year Neuroscience major on the Pre-Medical track. She currently serves as one of the co-chairs for OSU Reads on the 47th African American Heritage Fest. For on-campus involvement, she's also a part of Phi Delta Epsilon, a Pre-Medical Fraternity. A general body member for MCOST. Then also an undergraduate research assistant in the Smith Lab, researching cardio-toxicity due to anticancer therapies. She's also a Resident Advisor and off campus she works as a volunteer at Grant Medical Center and is a STNA over the summer. She chose to serve on the 47th committee, specifically, OSU Reads, because of her love for reading and wanting it to be something she can use to help serve my community. OSU Reads was perfect for that because she could do that for the local elementary school students. Bringing a fun and innovative way of integrating literacy and reading with hands-on learning activities.
